Blackrock will continue its partnership with Coinbase, by using its custody service and spot market data for its ETF product. As and when launched, the Blackrock Bitcoin ETF could well be in a pole position to bring in institutional investors to the Crypto Market.

WisdomTree Bitcoin ETF

The company said it is looking to gain exposure to the price of Bitcoin with its Bitcoin Trust while maintaining low expenses. The Trust will hold Bitcoin to achieve this goal, the company said in its SEC filing on Tuesday. Also, the WisdomTree Bitcoin ETF will use an independent pricing source in valuing its Bitcoin. 

On the other side, Grayscale has been fighting in court over the SEC’s rejection of its spot Bitcoin ETF application.

Wise Plots Primary New York Listing, Shaking London Confidence

The London Stock Exchange suffered another blow today when cross-border payments specialist Wise announced plans to shift its primary listing to New York, while maintaining a secondary quotation in London, citing deeper US capital markets and greater investor reach. Wise said a US primary listing would open the door to inclusion in major American equity indices, expand its shareholder base and improve liquidity. CEO Kristo Käärmann called the United States “the biggest market opportunity in the world for our products”, arguing that stronger brand recognition across the Atlantic should accelerate growth. El Salvador’s government has presented a bill to congress for regulating cryptocurrencies and related assets beyond just Bitcoin.  The legislation brings the Central American country a step closer to its goal of issuing blockchain-based Bitcoin-bonds. The Digital Securities Law The “Digital Asset Issuance Law” was presented by a spokesperson for the Salvadoran presidency late Tuesday. The legislation seeks to establish a dedicated crypto commission and Bitcoin Fund Management Agency for overseeing crypto debt sales.
